Defining Instructor-Led Training (ILT)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the undisputed gold standard of training delivery, instructor-led training (ILT) is becoming less used in the 21st century. COVID accelerated this process. The demands of a remote workforce make classroom learning difficult to facilitate. For designers, information delivered in the new hire classroom is now delivered via continuing education or microlearning. Small pieces replaced large curricula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite a marked drop-off in the number of classroom trainings, corporations still use ILT to deliver their most important lessons. Moving from a physical classroom to a virtual one did not alter perceptions. The class remains seen as the primary conveyance for vital information. ILT may always remain the flagship element of corporate training. Designing these experiences will always be a critical function for L&D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Spring of 2021, SoftBank partnered with Allstate Protection Plans to launch customer service on Google Pixel Phones in Tokyo. This is a New Hire Training presentation for that program, written in English and translated to Japanese. Contact for access.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
